This is my first year working at St.Ignatius as an Inclusion Specialist. I am looking forward to getting to know both you and your child this year.
I am working primarily with 8th grade students, but I have classes with some 7th grade students. I will be with your child during most of their classes in Language Arts, Science and Math. I have also arranged to have some study hall days specifically with the students in my caseload. This is an opportunity for us to check on:
homework
projects and labs
prepare for quizzes
get organized
work on any specific issues they may have

I believe good communication is a key in our partnership to educate your child. I hope this web page can help on general information, but I use e-mail as a first line of communication. I have included my calendar and contact information at the bottom if you want to talk or meet. By using this web page I have made a significant time commitment to keep it current. However, I will always put student needs before anything else.
Another key factor in our relationship is flexibility. I can adjust to your child's needs as much as administrative policy allows. Sometimes it may take a while to adjust as I may have to include other teachers and staff members.
